A Legacy Built on Service, Sisterhood & Strength

On behalf of the Eta Epsilon Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., I extend a warm welcome to all who visit this page. For over a century, Delta women have committed themselves to public service rooted in sisterhood, scholarship, and social action — and our chapter carries that mission forward every single day right here in the Tampa Bay community.

Whether you are a prospective member, an alumna returning to reclaim your membership, or a community partner seeking collaboration, we are glad you are here. Our Five-Point Programmatic Thrust guides our chapter's work across economic empowerment, education, international awareness, physical and mental health, and political engagement.

Together, we are Fortitude.

Founded on Fortitude. Sustained by Purpose.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was founded on January 13, 1913, by twenty-two collegiate women at Howard University in Washington, D.C. These Founders first made their mark on history by marching in the Women's Suffrage March just days after their founding — a bold declaration of what it means to be a Delta woman.

The Eta Epsilon Chapter was chartered in Tampa Bay in 1968, and for more than 55 years our members have shaped the educational, civic, and cultural landscape of Hillsborough County. From scholarship endowments to voter registration drives, the chapter has awarded over $480,000 in scholarships and logged more than 32,000 hours of community service since inception.
